Product Overview
The instrument uses persulfate ammonium molybdate spectrophotometric method to measure the total phosphorus content in water. Peroxysulfate converts all forms of phosphorus into orthophosphate, which reacts with ammonium molybdate to form a blue phosphomolybdic acid. By measuring the absorption of specific wavelengths of light by this blue substance, the total phosphorus content in water can be calculated. The instrument is suitable for online monitoring of various enterprise wastewater discharge outlets, surface water, rivers and lakes, etc.
